Welcome to the Partnership for Community Resiliency (PCR)

ERCEGI seeks to advance youth and community resiliency through partnerships that promotes wellbeing and balance in the seven key areas of wellbeing by ensuring Resilient Factors exist in home, school/work, and community environments. Our efforts are guided not only by collected data and feedback from the community, but also by the following principles:

  • The future of any community is only as good as the future citizens it nurtures.
  • Addressing problems means addressing people through communication and education in which all aspects (economic, social, emotional, physical, intellectual, spiritual, and environmental) are considered.
  • More comprehensive and systemic change results from programs that target prevention over intervention.
  • Education (formal and informal) is the fundamental means for change.
  • Enlisting all stakeholders is necessary for attainable and systemic change.
  • Solutions must be arrived at by clearly identifying problem areas and root cause(s) and then carefully applying sustainable preventative programs that have been incubated and scaled.
  • The success of a program must be measured not only by those it has helped but also by those it did not harm.

All that we do is in support of our primary objectives:

1. Promote healthy communities through grassroots mobilization--schools, nonprofits, faithbased, governmental agencies, and forprofit businesses;

2. Merge assets in pursuit of mutual goals to bring positive, sustainable change to a defined geographic area by identifying spatial inequalities and maximizing resources;

3.  Work to improve the schools within a defined geographic area by networking community assets and cultivating strategic partnerships; and

4.  Ensure holistic balance through seven key areas of wellbeing: Fiscal Management & Stability; Environmental Security & Responsibility; Social & Interpersonal Relations; Intellectual Growth; Mental Clarity; Introspective Reflective; and Physical Fitness

We are excited and honored to find ourselves in such a venture. We move forward with this charge to affect critical, positive change in North Florida and South Georgia communities as a beginning to a more promising future for us all.
